These pictures are pretty self explanatory. We painted over the pink and white stripes with a brown and blue combination. The girls got to help for as long as I had patience...not very long.

I made all of the things you see with fabric: curtains, changer skirt, bed skirt, bumper, quilt

My mom helped make the quilt top and bumper, but I am happy to say that I did the rest myself...with some counseling with my mom over the phone.

We found these perfect accessories at Hobby Lobby. The boot is a bank!

This barb wire collection on the wall was Justin's grandpa's. He collected wire from all over the world and this is just a sample. He has the rest of it in a museum in Ardmore. We thought it was fitting to put in his great-grandson's cowboy room.
I would like suggestions on how to decorate the wall running the length of the crib.

Super cute room! I am way impressed at your sewing skills.
As for an idea of what to put on that wall, you could frame some cowboy songs.
what about a vinyl wall quote on the wall with the crib? a bible verse or poem or something? i see vinyl lettering on etsy all the time. i guess you could always stencil on yourself too.
how fabulous!!! I love it and I am SO impressed you did it yourself. I need to work on my sewing...
I love jill's idea about framing a cowboy song-or at least you could use a vinyl cutout of a line from a cowboy song. A good "cowboy" book to get a quote is When a man's a man by Harold Wright.
You are too fabulous!
Wow! It all looks so nice! I understand completly about the girls helping. I don't usually last long even though I want to.
waaay cute Leighanne!
I loved catching up on your blog!! Your girls are adorable!! My kids l.o.v.e. Build-a-Bear, too. We usually indulge them for their birthdays or Christmas. It looks like you guys had a fun Christmas!! Yay for snow...but eeek, shorts?? What was Justin thinking?? :)
Your baby's room is sooo adorable!! I am amazed at your sewing skills! You did a fantastic job! I have to say that I also thought of a vinyl quote. Sorry that I didn't come up with anything unique. I think quotes are adorable, though. Good luck with what you decide and let us see pics of it when you get it done! :)
