The pictures are a little out of order, but I'm just gonna roll with it. Happy 8 year annversary!!

This gorgeous building was where we stayed for our anniversary. We got great rates and service was friendly.

We went to Souper Salad! for lunch and splurged a little on our diet.

Our room was nicely decorated/furnished and we had a microwave and fridge which keep our salad cool and our hot dogs warm. Since we checked in on a Sunday, we didn't want to go out to eat, so we just spent time at the hotel and at the pool.

Getting ready to go swim and soak in the spa.

There was a pretty fountain out front, so her is my attempt at a picture by the water.

They had such a pretty lobby and on both sides of this fireplace was a "library" where you could check out books/magazines and return them on your next stay. The fireplace was even lit with it's fake flames.

They had a pretty staircase that led to the second floor, so we would climb it to the 2nd floor and then take the other stairs to the 3rd floor (where our room was).
On Monday after we checked out we went furniture shopping in Oklahoma City. We went to the Habitat for Humanity Restore and got some ideas for when we are ready to fix up our little white house (the one that we bought together with our current house). Then we went and looked for sectionals, love seats, recliners/rocking chairs, and dining room sets. Oh to dream!! It was good to do this together without kids so we could discuss what we liked and didn't like. We agreed more than not and really enjoyed our time together.
When we went and picked the kids up from Justin's sister, she asked us if we were ready to sign up for one more year. We had such a good time that I think we can make it for another year and then hopefully happily ever after.d
