As part of my catching up, I need to post about another wonderful event that happened in our family over Christmas break. My brother and his wife Sara were sealed for time and all eternity in the Oklahoma City Temple on Saturday, December 29, 2012.
Jakob baptized Sara a little over a year ago and they were so excited to take the next step and make their family eternal. Sara has such a strong, fresh testimony of the church and as she continues to learn more through her calling in Young Women and other church meetings, it is so fun to see how excited and accepting she is of all the truths she is discovering and then applies them to her life.
I was honored to be asked to fix her hair for this special day. She is beautiful! And my brother is handsome too!
We started a little tradition of siblings holding the bride like this at Kristi's wedding, so we continued it here.
So we thought it would be fun to do to Jakob too but he started rolling out of our arms and Justin had to hurry and grab his head back up before he hit the concrete. Jakob will probably never let us pick him up again. Did I mention that this boy is TALL!
I am so glad that I am sealed to my amazing family and extended family. I can't imagine a Heaven without them.
