Ian has been our faithful Beta fish for almost 4 years. He has been through extreme starvation (10+days) and a move across the state. Near the end of his life, the girls liked to move the bubble filter thing so that it touched him and made him move. It got really hard to tell if he was dead or alive. He lost his beautiful blue and purple color and could barely make it to the top for food. So, one day he was actually "belly up" but still alive and we decided it was time to set him free and flush him. The kids said their goodbyes and away Ian went down the
porcelain throne.
