Cara's Birthday Part I

For Cara's 5th Birthday, she chose a makeup and jewelry party theme.  Merilee had this same theme a few years ago, so I had some leftover party stuff.  The rest was just a hodge podge of girly awesomeness.

 I made cupcake cones for the first time and they didn't really turn out but the kids didn't complain.

 The decorations were fun to do in this house with the vaulted ceiling, so the dining room was the dedicated party room.

 We did presents before church on Sunday because after church we invited a few families over for cupcakes and asked them not to bring a gift.

 Opening presents from Grandma and Grandma....more makeup!  She was thrilled.

 Holland got her some blingy shoes.

 Merilee got her a Barbie and pony set.

 Mommy and Daddy got her a Mermaid Barbie with a light-up tail. 

 I wanted to get a picture with just me and my baby girl.

 

We had 13 kids and 6 adults come and we had a lot of fun getting to know eachother and the kids played really well together.
